RBG 6000/ RBE 6000
Gantry-Brush washing installations
for complete fleet cleaning

The decisive characteristics of the RBG/RBE installation range

The sturdy sectional steel gantry is mounted on anti-tilt tracks. The integrated side brushes and roof brush allow cleaning of vehicles up to 8.2 feet in width and 13.6 feet in height. The clear drive-trough width is 10 feet. Lateral and roof mounted attachments which are greater than 2 feet in width or height are automatically washed over, allowing particullary awkward attachments to be negotiated by manual operation. The automatic control detects vehicles of any overall lenght.
The twin supported side brushes which are suspended from two traveling gear units, are powered by a motor which drives low-friction fixed position chains. The brush pressure is thus adapted exactly to vehicle being cleaned independent of the other brushes. The roof brush is transported along the gantry on idlers using the same principle.
The brushes themselves are assembled as centre-split pipes and can be changed by manual rotation without the use of tools. They come in six different colors (white, yellow, orange, red, green, blue) so that rainbow installation is possible. If required, specific parts of each brush can be contoured differently. Water and cleaning-agent supply is by means of a wall-mounted cable carrier or power chain, or by ground laid power chain. An additional pipe bend takes care of pre-rinsing or rinsing.

Cleaning to measure
The pictures on the left show the cleaning procedure of the RBG/RBE when cleaning a tractor-trailer truck. Here the roof brush automatically starts cleaning the rear of the cab and the front of the trailer. Using additional cleaning programs and attachments, the installation can take on further complicated cleaning jobs.
Lateral and roof mounted attachments like sun visors, spoilers, refrigeration units and ski carriers with cleaning width or heights in excess of 2 feet are automatically taken into considerationby the control system. Particullary difficult body shapes must be cleaned by manual intervention. Both a water recycling system and an "underbody cleaning" kit can be supplied as an option.
